Privacy notice

Last updated 15 August 2026. This pre-launch notice explains how Carucate handles account and beta-access information.

Who we are and how to contact us

Carucate is the controller for the limited personal data described here. Contact hello@carucatedata.com with privacy questions or requests.

What we process

If you create an account, our authentication provider processes account identifiers and sign-in information. We store saved aggregate areas, alert preferences, API-key hashes and minimal export/API audit events where you use those features. If you request Professional access, we process the contact details and use-case information you provide.

Why and for how long

We process this data to provide requested account features, maintain security and respond to Professional-access requests. We do not use property searches, addresses, individual sale records or EPC records as customer-profile data. Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the account, security, audit or request purpose, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We will update this notice before general availability if our processing changes.
